A 19-year-old student's drink was allegedly spiked with sedatives at a Koramangala pub, resulting in assault by two men she had met that evening.
A Bandra resident's unattended wine glass was spiked at one of Mumbai's popular clubs. Quick response from friends and family prevented a more serious outcome.
Sonali Phogat was administered methamphetamine at a Goa restaurant — a high-profile tragedy that underscored how these incidents can reach irreversible conclusions.

The Idea Sparks
Started developing the strip's Proof of Concept. First detection principle tested — found inaccurate — pivoted to a better approach.
New Principle, Better Results
Second detection principle gave good results. POC developed using this approach — the foundation of everything Kadam is built on.
POC for Reader & App
Began developing the Proof of Concept for the smart reader and companion app — building the full detection ecosystem.
Company Born & Incubated
Kadam Wellness officially registered on Independence Day. Incubated at AIC-LMCP — our first institutional home.
